Best arctic sleeping bag which isn't mega bucks?

Hello, can you advise on the best kind of sleeping bag to take camping?

I want one that keeps me really really warm, without taking up to much space.

i bought a mummy high gear frontier one thinking it would do the job but it doesnt, im really dissapoointed. I am now going to buy a british army issue one from an army surplus gaff as they are 4 season and i have slept in them alot in my younger days and they truly are roomy and toastie. DH thinks im nuts but ive slept in the snow in one before and lived to tell the tale.

Alpkit? Probably the best value down bags around ATM. See also sleeping bag advice here I particularly like the comment that if you want a "caravan-style" warm sleeping bag you'd need a caravan to cart it around in.
