Watching with interest...DH here also bought one. Personally, I found it hard to justify the money, but think its a man thing

Dh loves his ours! I love him loving it, as I get to sit back and have fab breakfasts and dinners / bbq's made for me.

The normal grill thing is a bit of a pain to wash though, so I prefer the cast iron grill. Also, make sure you buy the non-stick liner for the skottel - it's SO easy to wash then, and takes up no space in the sink.

Are the liners reusable?

MisSalLaneous · 29/07/2010 17:59

They are indeed, Millimat. Quite expensive at just under £5 for the (one) liner, but it lasts for ages (we've had ours for a couple of months already) and just makes cleaning SO much easier.

Can't find the liners online - any suggestions?

MisSalLaneous · 31/07/2010 09:54

on Amazon

Or, more expensive, but if you've got a Towsure or Go Outdoors near you you, it would be cheaper all in all, since everyone seems to charge £4.95 postage for something that fits into an envelope!

I'm quite shocked at how expensive they are here - we bought ours in Holland for under €5. It's still worth it though.

I've just found this discussion on it on UK Campsite.

Ooo off to Belgium tomorrow so may track one down abroad

MisSalLaneous · 31/07/2010 15:10

Oooh Millimat, hope you pass a camping shop, they have fantastic ones in Holland, I assume Belgium would be the same!
