Need a campsite within an hour from Northampton that's kid friendly - any ideas?

DH and I want to take our DS's on our first camping trip. We don't want to drive more than an hour away from our home in Northampton incase it all goes pearshaped! Can anyone recommend a nice child freindly campsite within an hour of Northampton, would be nice if it had kids play area too.

We went to the CCC one at Gullivers in Milton Keynes - v nice showers etc, good little play area, and as a total bonus next to Gullivers so you can just walk to that

You don't have to be a member to stay there - it's just cheaper if you are.

Billing?

Check out the search facility on UKCampsite, the reviews are also well worth a look.

Billing best avoided by all accounts, unless you like drunken teenagers running riot!

C&CC sites are usually well run and quiet.
