Bourton-on-the-water is lovely, it has a model vilage and Birdland. There is also a fab family farm about 2 miles from there that my boys loved, will try to find the name...

Agree with Bourton on the Water. Also Cotswold Wildlife Park at Burford is fab. Lots to see and plenty of walking - take a picnic. There is a fab play area for the kids there. Will have a think of other things as we stayed in Burford at October half term. Actually, Burford itself it very pretty - great deli at the bottom of the hill.

We haven't camped there yet, but DD and I did visit a lovely town called winchcombe last year. It's home to Sudeley Castle, home of Catherine Parr and site of her tomb. It is set in some gorgeous countryside as well. We also climbed nearly Cloud Hill. It's the highest point of the Cotswolds and great for viewing the sunset and taking in the stupendous scenery. As I say, we haven't camped yet, but I adored this part of the country.

We are staying at Cotswold View Caravan and Camping Park in a pod which is situated 1 mile from Charlbury on the B4022 towards Enstone then also at Greenhill Farm ? Bletchingdon ? Oxfordshire ? OX5 3BQ , these locations mean nothing to me
