Anyone have a vango artemis 500 ?

I have the Vango Icarus 500 which looks similar but has a higher head room in the bedroom and is a few inchs bigger all round.

You can also get a porch thingy/extension for it.

How many of you are there. I would say it is cosy for 3. obviously depending on weather and how much you may be holed in etc. But would be a real push to get 5 in the beroom with gear.

there's also the icarus 600 which is slightly bigger again. which if I had to buy another tent would be my choice. smile

Just 4 of us , it said it was a 5 berth. we have a Lichfield tent only used twice, leaked a little at the weekend, but think Hubby may not have pulled the front part tight enough, so it .got blown about lots

Also was worried about the poles as they are thin and were bending in the wind, was scary lol

which is why I looked at the atemis as the poles looked better

We have an vango Icaraus5 there is four of us it is a bit of a squeeze but a fab tent it withstood the most horrific winds last year whilst other tent around us (including some very expensive ones) collapsed and could never be used again ours stood strong also didn't leak on another camping holiday when we had torrential rain. Ummmm remind me again why camping is a good idea

we have a Vango Verona 8DLX. Tis an 8 berth tent and means that we (family of 4) can have a bedroom each - me and DH sharing a 4 bed space. Tis fab and HUGE.

Can't wait to go camping proper!

thanks, we dont want a huge tent, we have a 5 berth one now and it is fine, we all sleep together in the bedroom and the lounge fits our chairs in and bags

I didnt think the Vango 500 would be any smaller, better get measuring!!!
