It rained, blew a gale (we were in N Devon and the campsite seemed to have its own weather system ) one of the tents that we bought off ebay had no pegs (we didnt check it before leaving - silly us!) i got sunburnt even with lotion on, i got stung by a weever fish in the shallows on Woolacombe, i was told it was really unusual and it hurt like hell but was worth the trip to the lifeguards hut to be attended too and i got a stomach bug yesterday so spent all night being ill inside the blowy tent.

It was however a great laugh and i think that we love camping but i will be carefully rethinking exactly how much stuff we need to take next time and considering the idea of a few more takeaways.

Very near, Little Roadway Farm but every time we went to the beach which was only a couple of miles away it ended up being sunny but it was blowing a gale and chucking it down back at the campsite - it was freeeeeezing! Seems like the balmy tropics now we are home in sunny Wiltshire.
