What can i eat to meet my macro?

i have already eaten my protein for the day but still have 600cal left.
i don’t want to eat bread/bad sugary stuff so any filling idea that’s remotely healthy.
Healthy carb idea would be great for snack.

Presumably with 600 cals left, you still have a meal to eat?

I personally would eat another balanced/higher protein meal. Much better to eat something nutritious with protein to fill you up and nutrients and fibre from veg/fruit than to just fill up on carbs for the sake of it.

@DonningMyHardHat actually no.
I had 2 egg scrambled in the morning with half a cold jacket potato.
fried tofu with green beans and again a bit of potato for lunch.
Ribey steak with salad for dinner.
snack cottage cheese and a bit of granola.
according to fitness pal i have met my fat and protein intake (plus more) but still have 600cal left on a 1600 a day intake?
i am hungry yes @Cyclingforcake or should i say i’m missing the full/bloated feeling from all the processed carbs and shit i normally stuff in my face

thanks @Thelondonone i already struggle with heartburn and feel the apple wouldn’t help.
The cottage cheese did help actually so might use that again in the future.
may also try the rice cake/ peanut butter combo

Why do you want to eat more carbs? Are you trying to put on weight? How many g per day are you eating?

I'm on fast 800 keto which works really well and my macros for carbs are max 20g a day. Good luck.

I would have a nice bit of bread, maybe with jam. Or a crumpet. Love crumpets!

It depends on what type. Some have lots of salt, some are made with brown rice. They don't contain many great nutrients but I like them with peanut butter and apple as they help to fill me up.
You could have a piece of sourdough or a seeded pitta instead.

thanks @pandapopadance that's reassuring. I’m not sure if i’m imagining reading something a few years back talking about how awful rice cakes were. I could well be imagining it though.
I would rather not go near bread in any form as it’s my weakness and not great at self control.

But OP clearly isn't on Keto. Carbs won't make her gain weight if she stays in her calorie deficit.

i have done Keto before. Made me feel ill and not sustainable (for me) I remember it took over my life.
I know it works for a lot of people though
