Peak fat. How do I work out my calories

So I was nearly at my goal weight, and then lockdown happened. All my activity was out of the house, I lost my job, I started baking. I’ve slowly reached the fattest I’ve ever been.

I know if I lost a stone I would feel so much better.

But I’ve forgotten how to start - I was doing WW then high protein. I’m lost.

How do I work out my calories.

I went for an hours walk today but I know I need to start more aerobic/weight, everything I was doing was so hardcore I can’t start there. Why is it so hard…

I think I just need some calories to follow to start and a basic basic workout.

Go online and search “TDEE Calculator”, this will tell you roughly the calories you burn every day based on your height, weight and current activity levels. Once you have that information you can then work out how many calories you need to consume in order to be in a deficit & therefore lose weight x

Use a TDEE calculator to find out your maintenance calories and then deduct 500 from this. This is what you should eat per day to be in a calorie deficit and should equate to approx 1lb per week weight loss.
