Working out homemade calories

Hello, I have had great success calories counting in the past and want to get back to it. The bit I struggle with is working out calories in home cooked meals, which is the majority of what I eat. Summer is easy as I stick to basic soups and salad but I'm making pizza for dinner and have no idea how that works out calorie wise. What am I missing?

If you use one of the calories apps like My Fitness Pal, there is a "my recipes " section where you add in all the ingredients, say how many portions it makes and it works it all out.

Or if you use a recipe from BBC good food, they're calorie counted (and carbs etc)

I've not tried MFP for years so I might give it a go. I use either the Samsung or fitbit apps but can never seem to find the time to work out the calories of a meal and portion and add that in. I am not great at following recipes so it's a lot of additional weighing!

NutraCheck is absolutely brilliant. You can create multiple recipes and meals really easily
