Noom - be sure to ask to delete your credit card details after trail/subscription cancellation

Just a gentle reminder, basically no credit card no talk, even when you cancel they keep your card details as long as you have a log in - you can't delete it yourself like Amazon or Paypal etc you have to contact support. They have to delete your whole account apparently.
My situation was my husband and I both signed up for free trails - once you gave them the email address they will eventually give you 2 weeks free trails also 80% discount. He subscribed but I cancelled because we eat the same thing so no point for both to pay, and I could still use the free features of the app to keep him company eg meals logging and analysis.
I found out my credit card details was still on their system so contacted them, without explaining anything to me, they just deleted 'all' my data so now I can't log back on. On contacting them they said it's the only way.
Not sure if it's down to staff training or not, I wish they had explained that to me, or even better make the facts public before people start.
A business is there to make money I totally understand but deleting all my data just like that without explaining the consequences was harsh, just because I am not a paying customer.
One might not be a paying customer now but they can be potentially - they need to keep that in mind. And after hearing my experience, my husband will not be renewing his subscription when it expires.
So if anyone out there who has signed up previously and cancelled (even free trails), you might want to contact them to make sure they remove your credit card details
