Another Monday-give me a kick up the arse

Started calorie counting in February with 5 stone to lose. Was 15st 6. I’m now 13st 5 but haven’t counted anything for about a week now. It’s Monday, I’ve just done a big shop and I’ve got no excuses. Anyone else dragging their feet for no reason?

Congrats on your weight loss so far. You’ve done really well but don’t stop now! Think where you will be come Christmas time if you carry on. Whereas if you don’t, you’ll be in the same place you are now.

I have talked about it since January but lost nothing so I started properly last Tuesday and I’ve lost 4lbs. 3 weeks until the summer holidays here so I’m hoping that at 2lb a week I’ll actually get into the healthy weight range before then, but it’s so hard not to just eat crap when I’m tired.

Congrats, great work! Keep going, a week without counting is nothing, we all need to have some rest and take a step back for better results in the future, but don't stop now. I usually motivate myself with an edited picture where I look thinner and prettier, it reminds me where I can get if I don't give up just now. Maybe this could work for you, too- use perfect body photo editors like PhotoWorks or , print the pic out and keep it just so you'd see it. Really works wonders!

Thanks for the support guys, I’ve been back on it again. Going on holiday next month and I’d love to be back in the 12 stone bracket for it.
