Would anyone like to join me for motivation? Starting 17th May.

I'm around 12 stone 10 (scales are a bit hit and miss! But will always put them in the same spot to give me accurate results!)
Which is at least a stone heavier than I was last year. I've gone up a dress size and even some of those are feeling tight. I basically need to shift some pounds.
Would anyone like to join ?

I'm going to mainly do calorie counting but also try to combine it with fasting 16 hours a day. But may not always achieve this as I work long hours so sometimes need to start eating earlier in the day but then don't get home to be able to eat until 8pm ish.
Any ideas for lunches to break the fast with?
I'm thinking maybe boiling some eggs and taking a boiled egg to work, some hummus? Tomatoes etc...

Anyway. Would love if anyone wanted to join.

Start weight: 12 stone 10

I'll join you if you'll have me 😊 I'm actually half way through to my weight loss target, but plateauing (is that a word 😂) and need motivation to keep going. I'm using an app to track my calories and exercise, which has opened my eyes to the hidden calories in things I used to eat.
My best discovery so far are soups and noodles. A pack of instant noodles ora a cup of miso soup keeps me really full during the day and I can save those calories for dinner with the family. Also the fermented miso paste is supposed to be good for your gut bacteria I've been told..

Absolutely!! I could do with the motivation so we can motivate each other :D I'm a bit of a yo yo dieter so we shall see how this goes!
I've just made my packed lunch for tomorrow and already logged the lunch bits in to my fitness pal. It's useful to see what's leftover etc... I'm going to try to eat in an 8 hour window tomorrow but will not be the end of the world if I need to eat earlier in the day. Small steps and all that!
I've just had my last 152 calorie pack of crisps snack for now!
I might try to do it Monday to Friday and relax a little on the weekends (just in line with restrictions easing and lots of social plans!) But will still be mindful.

Good luck. New week tomorrow, we've got this 💪

Morning @Lubiluxe Hope you're feeling motivated and up for this 😊
I weigh myself every morning and had lost a little (I operate in metrics, so don't know how many pounds) and it's just what I needed to carry on. I tried so hard yesterday with exercise.. going for a walk, stair stepping at home and calisthenics that I'm pleased to see it's working.

Have a good day! You got this!
