Do you need to switch your diet around to keep losing?

Getting a bit frustrated. Have lost a stone and a half so far but my weight loss has slowed right down. I am doing mfp and eating between 1000 and 1200 a day. I try and keep any treats to under 200 of that. I always do over 10,000 steps a day and do 2-3 workouts a week, but I never eat back any calories. I just wondered if I need to think about changing my diet around.

I'd eat slightly more and change your workouts and mix them up to challenge you more. I'm not a nutritionist though.

How much do you weigh? Most people at 100-1200 calories per day would lose weight, but if you are only 8stone for example then possibly not.

Another explanation is that you are under estimating what you are consuming and are no longer in a calorie deficit

I disagree - most people at 1000-1200 cals would lose a lot to start with and then find it stall out. Their bodies would adapt their burn rate, make efficiencies, to mean they no longer were burning so much more than they were being allowed to eat.

OP. Work out your TDEE (total calories burn for a typical day) and then take 20% calories away - that is the maximum deficit I would ever use to lose weight. There is no need for any more and it risks plateaus, leading to you giving up, leading to you just going back to older and easier habits and regaining.

Agree with previous poster. You aren’t eating enough. Strange but true! 1200 should be your very minimum
