There's no calorie info on the pack but I scanned it into MFP.

it has: 2 falafel
Some undressed leaves, cherry toms, red pepper
Broccoli Kale and quinoa salad
Beetroot and some sort of grain salad
Undressed carrot and cabbage

I was surprised!!

350-400?

Falafal are calorie dense. Doesn't stop me eating a whole pack at a time though.

ZaZathecat · 13/03/2019 09:51

220?

CRbear · 13/03/2019 09:52

Few hundred? 100 for the falafel, 100-200 for grains and beetroot, 100 for miscellaneous salad?

Fazackerley · 13/03/2019 09:52

I don't think MFP can be right

I’d say about 400. Falafel are a killer for calories!

Michaelbaubles · 13/03/2019 09:55

That’s not the same thing though. And it won’t be 467g either I don’t think.

TheHolySmirk · 13/03/2019 09:55

Is the serving size right?

Is there a hidden dressing underneath the leaves?

Coronapop · 13/03/2019 09:55

Falafel, quinoa and grains all contain carbs, so up to 450 KC per 100g. It depends on the weight of these.

MollyHuaCha · 13/03/2019 09:56

Seems like too many to me.

JenniferJareau · 13/03/2019 09:56

Not a surprise unfortunately. Falafel is notorious for being calorie loaded. Picked up a similar salad once and almost fell over when it was near 1000 calories.

ShirleyPhallus · 13/03/2019 09:57

That isn’t the same salad? Yours is from Morrison’s, that’s from Jack Astor

Comefromaway · 13/03/2019 10:00

The Jack Astor's one (its a restaurant) has dressings, chicken and cheese in it

The Smiling Buddha

$19.98

Roasted chicken, mixed greens, arugula, red quinoa, cucumber, apple, strawberries, dried cranberries, spiced pecans, honey Dijon dressing, fresh mint, basil, and goat cheese crumble

ZaZathecat · 13/03/2019 10:01

Does your salad weigh that much? It doesn't look like it would. 467g is nearly as much (the same?) as a big tub of butter.

Fazackerley · 13/03/2019 10:02

Oh thank god Grin it's called the bhudda salad so I assumed they were the same thing

I'd say quite a few hundred , at least 400 possibly 500. The falafel and the grains make it higher than you think. I think the 750 suggested is a bit OTT.

Fazackerley · 13/03/2019 10:11

It's minging anyway Sad

OP posts:
SurgeHopper · 14/03/2019 00:54

How come everyone has started saying minging?

Pablo2065 · 25/06/2019 18:20

501 according to Morrisons.

birdsdestiny · 25/06/2019 18:23

I hate morrisons food to go but not sure that helps Smile
