Hi, I've started a weight loss class at the lovely Belsize Park Community Library - Antrim Rd Belsize Park. I have a group on Tuesday 7pm and Wednesday 7pm.
Essentially the main area of support comes from group identification, learning about triggers, being less judgmental of ourselves and finding ways to avoid disasters. Most members can expect to lose at least half to two pounds per week.
New members will get support with tweaking what they currently eat, weeding out and lessening some of the foods that may slow down weight loss. I do not advocate dieting and prefer instead to see overeating as often a symptom of stress or anxiety or emotional upset.
The class is a drop-in and costs £5.00 per class.
