Am SO tired of this yo-yo weight thing. All my life, I’ve lost and then gradually gained the same bloody stone. Nothing fits me. I feel ashamed of myself, physically and wear the same 2 or 3 outfits, daily. I flatly refuse to buy more clothes. I’ve jeans (good ones, I look ok in at 10 and a half stone but can’t do up nor sit down in.

It’s should destroying. Where do I start....again?

Anyone else do this?

Other than that good luck to all in your diets. But whatever anyone tells you, being super slim does not always equate with being super healthy. When I do eat I enjoy it and there's no greater pleasure than enjoying your food!

Maybe look ar the science behind the keto diet? It's a way of eating that turns your body into a fat burning machine by denying it carbs. I'm not a fan of fad diets, but for me, low carb high (good) fat is sustainable. Cravings go and blood sugar levels are stable. Dishes of fish, avocadoes, veg, salad, cheese, cream, meat, nuts, berries etc.
MN's low carb bootcamp thread is supportive.

Melfish... we sound like a very similar shape if your the same height. I used to carry weight on my thighs and backside whereas with age, it’s kind of everywhere. Oh joy! 😐

Sos that’s astonishing. I come from a family of larger ladies. My mum always says “well I was under 8 and a half stone, all my life” but then, she smoked 30 a day. When she stopped smoking, up went the weight.

Good lord! There’s no chance of my becoming super slim. Ever.

I don’t want my face and neck to go all drawn and wrinkly but losing a stone would make a huge difference.

Thanks Diana. I’ll have a look at that support thread.
