10lb of 'baby weight' to lose...

Although, ideally, I'd like to lose a stone. My baby is 5 months old and 3.5 months of exclusive breastfeeding actually meant that I gained weight! I mix fed until 2 weeks ago and, now that dd2 is fully weaned onto formula, I want to cracking on with losing the weight.

I currently weigh 11st2lb. Which, given that i only weighed 11st13 at 9 months pregnant, is ridiculous. Ive downloaded an app called 'My Father Secret'. It has put my calories as 1500 per day. Yesterday I burned 400 calories with exercise and I plan on incorporating exercise every day. Today I've done Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown dvd. Any tips or company would be greatly appreciated!

Hey,

I'm in a similar position, but have a bit more to lose! I have had four babies in 8years and the weight has slowly crept on.... But has really increased since number 4!

My baby is seven months, he is still breast fed as is a bottle refuser! I have downloaded my fitness pal and set the calories at 1500. I don't want to drop any lower than that as worried about affecting my supply?

I started a week and a half ago, at 11st11lbs. I have been doing couch to 5k and some exercise classes (did spin tonight and almost threw up). Now 11st 2lbs 1/4. Finding it hard though because baby is still not sleeping through and carving the time out for exercise is hard. So no tips..... But I'll do it along with you!

It really is a simple case of burning more calories than you consume. Eat sensibly and be as active as possible. There's no secret, it's simple maths.

I really struggled to lose the baby weight after DC1. There was a stubborn 7-10lbs that would not shift. And I'm short, so it showed.

I low carbed after DC2 and it was fantastic. I really recommend the Bootcamp section on here. Even now, I only semi low carb and don't really worry about my weight at all.

Great to hear from people! I weighed myself today and I'm 11st so heading in the right direction. Going to a Zimbabwe class tomorrow night. I'm excited, I feel so motivated at the minute!
