Hi all, I've been sticking to 1200 per day and doing some exercise. I've lost 12 pounds since 1April - is this ok do you think? I have hit a bit of a wall though and stuck on 9st 10 for a couple of weeks. I would like to lose the remaining 10 pounds by my August holiday. Doable? X

You've done really brilliantly, and at 1lb a week it is more likely that you will keep the weight off. I recently lost almost a stone in weight and also hit a wall. I wanted to lose the last 5 pounds for a school reunion, so I stuck to my diet, walked more and had just a low calorie cappachino and a crumpet with a small amount of peanut butter for lunch. It was hard but I knew it was only for a few weeks, and it worked.

Just keep as active as possible, even if it's only hoovering more, cutting the grass more often, find reasons to have to go upstairs. I even stood up to work on the laptop (I work from home so it's easier)

All the best, you can do it.
