My "lucky 13" diet; slim by the summer?

I would like to lose a stone by the end June, and am stating my 13- rule game plan here. Anyone else who wants to play is very welcome Smile:

  1. Everything goes on MFP
  2. No milky coffees; stick to black decaf and red bush tea
  3. No puds, chocolate or sugary stuff.
  4. Do not have cream in the house and not too heavy on the cheese
  5. Breakfast is 5 water biscuits and marmite
  6. Lunch is a low cal sandwich or salad.
  7. No pasta or pizza.
  8. Only have one course when eating out, no bread, and always order what you think the really skinny woman in the office would order.
  9. No alcohol
10. No snacks, except fruit and veg if you are desperate 11. Heavy reliance on cottage cheese 12. Small portions and no second-helpings 13. Max 3 jokers per week e.g. 2 glasses of wine and one pasta meal.

Good Lord! Good luck - that sounds quite hardcore to me.

Thanks, notnow, I've gradually got into some bad habits, so hardcore the only way! If I'm doing well I might give myself an extra joker....

5 water biscuits is abit skimpy for a breakfast? you'll be hungry again within 20 mins?

SheKnewSheWasRight · 29/03/2014 08:57

I've done it before successfully with the water biscuits, and it's just about getting into the habit of expecting that this is all that there is; you stop getting hungry after a few days.

....but clearly the first few days are not much fun...

It's brilliant you are so motivated! Just one question (and I don't mean to be negative) but surely if you follow rule 1 and stick to the calorie goal you don't need the other rules? I'm worried you are making it harder for yourself than it needs to be!

mega hardcore! But you sound really motivated and are bound to succeed! Did you make this up yourself? I would join you but my wine needs me. It gets lonely.
