HELP! What to do about bullies?

My 10 year old son is being relentlessly bullied but a group of kids in his class. The teachers are aware but they don't seem to help. It also occurs at the park after school. It's mainly verbal abuse he receives, but one of the girls told him she would k!ll him the other day! I've had words either them, my mum (his nan) has also had words with them. I'm not sure who their parents are because the kids go to the park without them, so I can't speak to them really.

What can I do about this!? My son was in such a state today. He has ADHD and finds it hard to regulate himself and resists impulsions, especially when he feels threatened or embarrassed so he does try to defend himself, which I think makes it worse.

Is there a better way to tackle this situation?

Why is your son hanging around a park where he is bullied? I'm not victim blaming, but surely a first step would be to remove himself from that situation. In terms of the school, you just need to be a broken record until they do something. Ask for multiple meetings per week with the headteacher and safeguarding lead until something can be done. If you felt like it you could escalate this further, there is some good advice here I hope you can get this sorted asap.
