My dd is struggling with her little friendship circle. She started school with a tight little group of four friends. One of the friends has been isolated at the request of one of the others who says they are ‘scared’ of her. (We are of course keeping up with play dates and encouraging play with this little one). Now our dd is being excluded. She has been called a frenemy and is has been told they can’t be friends because she ‘breached their trust’. This sounds way over the top from a 5 year old. I’ve asked the school to step in a little bit. Any other advice or is this all par for the course?
