My son had just started secondary and is struggling with anxiety in a few ways, but the unwanted attention from a child who came up with him from primary seems at the core. He teases and messes with DSs stuff, and DS worries it will turn physical and is trying to avoid him. This has become not wanting to go to school.
School want the name of the child but although DS has told me the name he doesn't want me to share as really thinks the bullying will get worse rather than better. He says if I break trust he won't tell me anything more.
We are getting him to school some days and school have supported in giving him places to go at break times but there are other times of day he is likely to encounter the child and is too anxious to take part in.
I don't know what to do.
