I was off work for 2 weeks after putting a grievance in about a person j worked beside who sent me something inappropriate to my phone thrn discarded it but I managed to save it before this got taken off. Managment wanted me to put in a formal grievance which I was scared to do so but was convinced I would get support. I was taken in for a meeting to discuss what had happened and the person involved got suspended while investigation was going on. When person was asked to come for a meeting I was then left a few days before been told by managment that they had decided to let this person return which caused my anxiety to go through the roof I felt sick and was made to feel that I had done wrong with putting grievance in in the first place which my manager said for me to do and then left me to deal with this I got a line from my doctor to say I should take 2 weeks off under work stress and when I returned I was hit with 3 meetings one was about thr 1st meeting I stopped to go away as I was in on my own with 2 managers to say that the person who had disaplinery meeting had resigned and I was made the bad person and to get a return to work and be told I gave had 3 abcenses in space of 2 years and getting put on a stage one for 12 months then 3rd meeting was to acuse me of not carrying out my job properly this came to a shock to me and my area was pulled apart when I was off by managment and they had meeting took notes asking questions etc then to be told that im now facing a disaplinery meeting in a few days I could not take any more and left and picked up line from doctor as I'm at the stage now of not wanting to go on in life these people have hung me out to dry taken my confidence and all my anxiety is over whelming I can't eat or sleep I'm worrying about money and paying bills, all along I thought I was doing the rite thing reported the collegue and now tables have turned on me and they have been looking to get me out the door.

Hello OP

You did the right thing raising the grievance. I’m in a similar situation but I can’t prove the bullying as their very clever I. How they disrespect me. I get looks, being ignored, of they make it clear they don’t like me but not directly by saying.

if you’re concerned about how your grievance is being dealt with, contact an employment solicitor. You may get legal help through an insurance policy, through a union if you’re a member, or a solicitor who offers no win no fee.
