My ds has been in yr 1 for a few weeks now. He's always quite shy and anxious but seemed to settle ok. This week he has told us he is being bothered by another boy at lunch.

He pushes him about, has kicked him and wants to fight and chases him. My son has either taken it or run away. He's too shy to answer back.

We have now spoken to teachers since learning all this and they have been really good. The other boy is 'being spoken to today' and they assure us it wont be tolerated and keep an eye out.

What will actually happen to this other boy? In others experience will this stop? Is a telling off enough? Will his parents be told? I feel so angry and upset one horrible other child can make my son so scared to go to school where he used to love.
