A film circulated last term of my son getting kicked over at school last term. It was put on snapchat stories by the boy who did it and the videos seized my two phones, my son never saw it, It was dealt with at school, must have been about 12 weeks ago. Now this week, on the first week back of term a boy has re shared it onto his stories. FFS...I'm so angry. My son is already under camhsplus he lost someone very special to him last week and has been dealing with the grief.

I now have a copy of the video after a parent sent it to me :-(

Will this be circulating forever? My son was a completely innocent. In video is he has his back turned to the camera, talking to someone and had no idea is was about to be tackled to the ground.

Tried contacting snap chat but no reply. Not sure what they can do as if its been screenshot it could be on loads of kids phones now.

Think I just need a handhold:-(

Contact the school and let them know the video has been recirculated.

Feel for you x you probably know already but any contact with the school should be in writing, then they and you have a record of it. I had many calls with ds school when kids tried to push him down the stairs, it was only when I started emailing everything that action was taken.

I am just experiencing the same and I'm about to email the school. My DS was pushed hard to the ground and sent flying and I had no idea of the severity of this incident which happened a few weeks ago, until video circulated on Tik Tok yesterday. Tik Tok's website refers to its moderation panel, but I can't find a link or the specifics of what to do. It's very upsetting. Any knowledge/advice from anyone would be welcome.

So sorry for you both. Personally I would go to the police with it it is assault.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing - but it may have been better to have gone to the police the first time it circulated. I know the crime was committed by a school child but it was an assault and 10 is the age of criminal responsibility in this country. I am all for schools giving people second chances and restorative justice for minor matters but this is really a criminal matter.

Hope things are resolved
