Making fun of DD’s name

DD1 has a Greek name, but she told me these older boys in the after school club call her Boyfriend making fun of her name and she feels sad about it.

What would you do in this case? She’s only 5 and says she’s shy to say anything to them and that she does not want me to ask them to call her with her name as she does not like what they do.

How can I go about it? This is in her Spanish class which she says she does not like because of this happening

Do you think this could be a problem throughout school?

I would speak to the staff, expect them to deal with it, and that it never happens again. It's totally unacceptable other children to be so rude to your DD.

Talk to who ever runs it. It's they job I deal with unacceptable behaviour.
