One big accomplishment today .... my DS finally stood up to the child who has constantly bullied him for the past three years. It must of taken so much courage. He is now worried what the teacher will say as saw his parents going into classroom after school. Don't care as I have told them like a stuck record for three years one day my DS will only take so much ...

For the past few years my DS has been subject to agressive behaviour from the old child such a foot stamping, pushing over, hiding his books in class, telling nasty things such as I hate your parents, your mum is horrible to two violent attacks last year. Teachers did not do take much visible action apart from putting another teacher on duty at playtime to watch and keep apart in the classroom. Today he was stamped on his foot in the line and pushed him hard against the door coming out. So DS got his own back by giving some of his own medicine. I saw it happen then next saw the other boy telling his parents what had happened and going back into class. I have always told him to tell a teacher or walk away but teachers he had enough this time. Kept telling the teachers it would happen and it has.

Good for him! DS teacher claim all incidents are accidents, well my son may cause a few accidents in the near future!! Tell us what happenes.

My 5 year old was bullied physically and even has scares from it. She learned after 9 months to hit back despite me telling her always to never start hitting and always tell a teacher. Now she is turning into a bully :( and she is now in constant trouble :( she always justifies it by saying they did it to me for so long so now I can too. The sweetest most caring girl she was :(

I'm glad and proud your son stood up. I hope and pray the teachers know where it came from.

Jaabaar, your daughter is a perfect example of why schools should deal with bullies quickly and effectively. The damage runs deep. I know most schools brush it under the carpet. It took 12 months for my DD to stop being angry to stop being a victim. I would never wish it on anyone.

jaabaar · 16/09/2015 10:49

Sally I just do not know how to stop the anger. The worst thing is that nobody sees where it came from although I kept telling teachers. Now parents give me dirty looks and she is blamed for everything.

I am at my wits end. It is heartbreaking and very damaging and affects all aspects of life.

Sallyhasleftthebuilding · 16/09/2015 12:16

The other issue you may have is that kids soon twig who will lash out and be entertaining. They may wind your DD up to set her off, I would be having a serious chat with teachers, sometime she may not realise whats happening.

jaabaar · 16/09/2015 13:37

Sally I did not even think of that.... Thank you for sharing!
