Special needs daughter being bullied

Hi guys. My young daughter is autistic and one of the other children in her class is picking on her. Yesterday she came home crying because the child had said her blonde hair was a bit like wee. From what I have been told the other child is a blonde headed too. There is no reason for my youngest daughter to be bullied. She is the smallest and thinnest in her class not to mention youngest. But otherwise, she is just the same as anyone else in her class.

Please get back to me soon with some good advice.

Ah, this is mean and must be awful for your daughter.
I would mention it to the teacher as sometimes it can escalate if not sorted sooner rather than later.
No pearls of wisdom but I'm sure others will have.

Thanks. The teacher is lovely and I have always been happy to talk to her. So that shouldnt be a problem. [Smile]
