Is this bullying? What to do?

My close friend's dd has been bullying mine i think. What do I do? Apparently she has been calling her ugly( she's stunning). Her mummy says she's jealous of my dds long hair. I have witnessed some incidents. My dd dosnt have a dad around and her dd went on about it in front of me. To be fair her dad got really annoyed.
On another occasion we went round and her dd had some other friends there and my dd was the only one she wouldn't let on the bed. Her dad got really angry again.
It's a shame as I really like this friend but her dd is being so mean . It makes me sad. What should I do?

Can you not talk to the Mum? It seems the dad is definitely taking it on board.

Maybe you should intervene when you see something that raises your concern but, approach it calmly.

Honestly--I'd walk away from the friendship. It's not your responsibility to "do" anything. Bullying is horrendous. Sounds like it's based on jealousy, but that does not excuse it. Don't try to accommodate the bully by dancing around the issue, just keep your distance (IMO).
