Express Breast Feeding (Baby Tounge Tied) - Lactation Support?

Hey!

I'm 3 Weeks Post Partum, and we delivered by emergancy csection. I wasn't able to buy a pump in time because Baby was premature, and we discovered she has a tounge tie (so breast feeding was out the question - hospital refused to snip the tie...which upset me)

Because I don't have a pump, HV said to use hand every time.. and it's caused my hands to seize.. effectively lowering my supply...

... upsetting for me!

Does anyone have any good hints or tips about picking up the supply again? I've already tried expressing more often.. and skin-to-skin contact (something about hormones helping supply)

Thank you!! Xx

Can you order a hands free electric pump online, I got one from you know where for £40 next day delivery. Drink plenty and pump every two hours, ensuring you empty your breasts each time x

I feel this! I've had no choice to hand express currently and it's caused alot more issues than it's worth! Midwives are debating giving me a pump from the Community Team ❤️
