Growth spurts sending hormones haywire?

Hi all. I'm BF DC2, and don't remember this from last time. Whenever DD goes on a growth spurt, it's as though I have PMS from hell! I don't think it's as simple as tiredness, as I'm still getting more than my fair share of sleep all things considered. I don't mind the extra feeding in itself either, she normally feeds every 2 hours during the day anyway (not at night though, thank god). I just become incredibly weepy and irrational, and wondered if the boost to your milk supply is messing the hormones about?

p.s. Meant to add that we're at 7 weeks now, and most of the time I'm happy and we're doing really well.
