Did anyone hear 'World Have Your Say' on the subject of breast feeding?

here

It's a discussion of the article recently published in Mother & Baby magazine as well as global views of breastfeeding. It starts off interesting, then the host starts shouting at a UK breastfeeding advocate. Generally positive though, and (IMO) not anti formula, but (apart from a few loons) accepting that breastfeeding is (globally) the norm, but formula has its place too! (Lots of women with attitudes I don't agree with, but it's a good debate )

Just noticed, I apparently can't spell 'lady'...

i have listened on iplayer. IMO she was quite shouty, talked at length and over the host. Looking at her blog, I can see why she was wound up, but your average listener wouldn't know that, and polite generally comes across better than pushy imo.

I agree the BBC should not be chucking people off for explaining facts about deaths in Africa due to artificial feeding.

brollyflower - I thought she was very defensive from the get-go, which probably didn't set the right tone for the interview!

jem - I saw the link from her site so listened to it after reading the blog. not convinced she was totally in the right, but there were some infuriatingly moronic folk being interviewed too (like the one from jamaica iirc).
