Breastfeeding twins at 14 months - anyone else?!

Am hoping I might find another mum who is also breastfeeding twins post-one year. While breastfeeding was hard going for first 6(ish weeks), kept at it, and am still doing so, albeit just the one (bedtime) feed a day now.

I have recently gone back to work (4 days a week), so stopped the morning feed, and it felt a little emotional, but actually I'm now fine about it. I feel in no rush to stop feeding, and they still like it too, so I guess what I'm looking for is a bit of reassurance I'm not crazy to be continuing!!

Is anyone else still breastfeeding after the one year marker? How do you find it? What are your thoughts on when you will stop?

Also for those who have stopped post-one year, how did you approach it? How did you know when the right time was to stop?

Would really appreciate a bit of chat about this, as I don't have any other twin mums in same position as me that I know of!

Thanks!

Hi, I fed my twins until 12 & 15 months. I stopped at these ages because its when they lost interest, started messing around, biting etc & just became more interested in food. I don't know how long I would have carried on if they had still wanted me to but if you & they are happy then carry on !
