Help! Baby 24 weeks old but I have nipple pain like in 1st week !!

DD is 24 weeks and EBF - suddenly both my nipples are getting really sore, nearly as bad as when she was a week old (though no bleeding this time yet thank goodness).

I think she's teething (she has been dribbling and chewing everything in sight for nearly a month) so perhaps this has altered her latch? Is there anything I can do??

Was hoping to EBF til 26 weeks then just morning and evening as I'll be back at work (though DD won't take a bottle, but that's perhaps for another thread!)

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

This happened to me and I think I started a thread about it

Just think as DD was getting bigger her latch changed so I needed to alter her position a little

Dd would also pull and chomp so that was a bit painful too

Thanks - have tried searching for threads on this but no luck, maybe I'm not thinking of the right words!
Yes, dd is pulling and chomping too! How did you find a better position? The latch still looks ok to me - or no different from usual at any rate!
Great to hear you were able to keep going with BF, thank you, very encouraging!

I tried to find the thread but can't

I just tried to move her head and pull her closer to me and we got there again

Am still feeding and DD is 9 months and am back at work
