Hello
My almost 5 month old is fully bf and i know they dont normally need to water until weaning unless in very hot weather.
Where we are going is going to be very hot so i thought it would be good to give her some between feeds or on long car journeys.
I know bottled water can contain lots of bacteria but I am sure i read somewhere that Evian water is the next best thing - did i dream that?
I know you cant bring liqids on planes so what do you do for water for babies?
thanks

BF on the plane, particularly when taking off or landing. Personally, I'd bf on demand and offer lots.

Don't need water .... Just lots of breastfeeds

You can, if you must, give her cooled boiled water but breastmilk is still better. You will need to drink more water because of the extra feeding and the heat.

Personally I'd prefer to just stick with bf - lazy mum i just thought I was supposed to give her water in very hot weather so just bf suits me

Thank you!!!

Ps. anyone experience a bf baby this small on planes? was it really hard for them and did the bf on taking off and landing help?

I took my DD away when she about 15 weeks. She was an angel on the plane, BFed on take off and again on landing and wasn't a bit bothered by either as a result. All the cabin crew cooed over her too and no one said anything negative about BFing her.

Have a good holiday

We took DS away at 9 weeks to a hot country and just BF on demand. Flight was a dream, everytime he murmured I fed him.
