my baby is 10 weeks. she has stopped pooing multiple times a day. only once a day now and yesterday she went more than 24 hours with no dirty nappies... then only a small poo...

is this ok? i was under the impression that they needed to poo 1 or 2 times a day...not NO times a day..is this a worry?

by the way she is exclusive breast fed.

Not a worry, this is totally normal.

breastfed babies often go a long time without pooing - my DS had a phase of pooing only once a WEEK! When it came, it was a poo-fest of monstrous proportions...

They tend to digest almost everything they drink, so unless she seems uncomfortable, then don't worry.

the poos should be soft, though - constipation is when the poo is hard and difficult to pass.
