just thought i'd share.

The breast feeding midwife at Queen Charlotte's uses them, I think quite a few people do.

what are they for, demos?

we use them at work to show mums how to latch on and feed in antenatal classes, or how to hand express.

yes for demos, cos you can squish them like a breast you see.

And they can be knitted with all sorts of nipple shapes and sizes, flat nipples, inverted nipples... and all colours too. They look daft as anything but are actually pretty useful!

i thought they were lovely. dont think they gave them enough of an explanation on TM though, they all just seemed to make a joke out of them. hardly any point in having them on the show.
