Slow weight gain EBF baby

So, as the title suggests I have a rather cute, but small baby. Born 6lb 12.5oz now 9lb 10oz at 13 weeks. I had been quite happy with things with her putting on 2-3oz per week but over the last two weeks she decided to only put on an oz. Every nappy is wet (to varying amounts) so prob 5-6 a day. I think I'm just being a bit paranoid as were moving out of the country 13 days and feel like to I need to get on top of every potential thing before we go IYSWIM. So back to the point, do you think it's worth getting someone to check out the latch to just to make sure. We do have a LLL but they meet once a month and it was last week. If I rung them would they be able to check, or will I have to pay for a private LC. Thing is I hate phones, so don't want to make a call unnecessarily. I'm also now making a concerted effort and eat and drink more and with the stress of sorting everything out I had started to skip meals. I feed her after every sleep, prob averaging 2 hours during the day. Was 2.5-3 hours but since she's dropped a night feed she's fed more in the day. Thanks in advance

Hi Climberchick,
I am no expert but didn't want to leave this unanswered.
My DD was the same, indeed a good week was when she reached 3 oz. (Many an anguished thread on here from me) She is almost a year, still a small baby but active, curious and developing perfectly normally so it hasn't done her any harm.
I think it's normal that EBF babies gain slowly.
I think you should call an LC, not urgently, but just to set your mind at rest.
As long as she is making good wet nappies she is getting adequate hydration. (I used to weigh DD's nappies!) Is she alert, and meeting her milestones? You are right to eat and drink properly yourself, but tbh your body will continue to make milk anyway but taking care of yourself makes it much easier.
Another thing I will suggest is to look up LLLL meetings, LC's in the place you are going to.

thanks wukter will pluck up the courage to phone somebody in a few days (when i've got time to actually do anything). Yes she is alert and rolls back to front and has rolled front to back a few times as well, so think the milestones are going well. Maybe it just takes alot of energy to roll

Can you text/email them Climberchick? Or get DP/ a friend to call them. They wouldn't have to give to many details, just make an appointment.
Though it seems to (non-expert) me that your DD is doing really well.
Have you ever checked this site? I found it helpful.

Yeah will get DH to do it (i'll tell him in the morning). I have seen the site and it is a treasure trove of information, but you know what its like when your pretty sure, but just want to make sure. Anyway off to bed now (we're moving in with the ILs tomorrow, just until we fly, and will definately need all my strength for that mini adventure).
