DD is 3 in August, I feed her once or twice a day, more if she's ill, or we're having a lazy lounging around day

I'm pregnant (very early days) and have to go abroad for a week for work. I'll be 10 weeks pregnant.

Should I expect my milk to dry up in that time?

I'v been away from DD for 2.5 days before and she doesn't worry about bfing when I'm not there, but always wants it the minute I'm back. 2.5 days didn't seem to affect my supply, but I wasn't pg then....

I'm a bit worried I'll get back and she'll want bf but there'll be nothing there

My DS was 3 last August and I got pregnant May 09 whilst he was still feeding. My milk changed to colostrum at around 14-16 weeks despite regular BFs but DS still fed all through my pregnancy. Maybe expressing would help whilst you're away??

I thought of that, but haven't ever expressed in the past so don't have a pump, seems abit silly to get one at this point...

hand expressing? You might start to get a bit too sensitive for a pump. I went through a bit of a sensitive patch. Hope works out for you and DD
