Sorry - this is gross but as always mumsnet is my first port of call for when I have any kind of question!
I'm BFing 16mo DS, but he's been cutting down the feeds a lot over last few weeks so I only really feed him before bed and a bit in the morning (although he does wake and latch on during night I don't think he actually has much milk...). Over last few weeks i've noticed yellowish discharge and I'm wondering if this is related to the reduced amount of Bfing - something hormonal maybe? I've never had thrush before but i don't think its that as I'm not really itchy or sore.
just wondering whether i should be worried or if its normal.

Could be your body cranking up to re-establish ovulation so be careful if you don't want to conceive!

i thought it might be something like that... no worries bout conceiving... i think you've got to be having sex for that to happen haven't you???

Sounds like you're being careful enough then. If the discharge does not smell very offensive and you are in no pain I don't think you have anything to worry about.
