Let him sleep and feed him if and when he wakes up.

But he has slept through with from this time till 7am now for the last month, i really dont wanna go back to a middle of the night feed, and i cant believe he is ready to drop that feed so he goes 7 till 7 yet coz he is still small and isnt drinking enough in the 4 feeds he has had?

I am not sure then as I have demand fed mine. I always just feed them when they ask for it. I could never get my head around a routine as such.

14 weeks seems young to me to not have a feed between 11pm and 7 am. But hey perhaps that is why people have routines!

Have you changed his nappy or taken his clothes off? Maybe that would wake him up? Or just latch him on so he feeds while asleep?

My DS's have always fought being woken and flatly refused to feed. I only tried once with DS2 - it isn't gonna happen here.

Can you feed him while he is asleep, just kinda slip the nipple/bottle in there?

I think you just need to accept that he's not ready to feed when you want and you may have to get up in the night for a while. If he feeds and settles again easily it shouldn't be too much of a problem should it?

I would have been very grateful for a baby who only woke once a night any time in the first two years.

Count your blessings. You have a baby who wants to be a sleep at night. Lots of people would go on their knees and beg for that.
