I'm trying to remember what my baby had at 1 week and I think it was about 3oz every 3 hours. But that didn't stay that way for long. Babies that age change weekly and their milk intake will continue to rise each week.

Breastfed babies I think might feed every hour or so because they're getting less oz per feed.

they have rough guidelines on the side of the tins don't they?

if you are offering 2 oz every 2 hours and he is drinking it all then you could try to add another 1 oz to the next bottle to see if he takes more

lots of babies feed little and often; some feed less frequently but take more at each feed

at this stage, things are likely to change all the time

Rough guide only is 2.5-2.7oz multiplied by weight in pounds gives you the amount for 24 hours.
