Hi everybody!
I need ds4 to have a bottle ! Hes20 wks now and has started to use me more like a dummy ! He will NOT take a dummy nor a bottle, he wakes at 2 and ends up in bed all night with us, purely to suckle not feed, ds3 is only 17 months and when he wakes in thenight say with teething I can't comfort him for long before I'm off again to lie down with no 4 , I've not had to deal with this with the other 3 all have had a dummy and I'd finished feeding them all by about 12 weeks, so any tips on how I can do this! Have tried the bottle a few times to no avail...... Please please anyone! Hellllpppp!

No advice sorry, just wanted to say you have my sympathy, dd4 (28weeks) goes to bed like an angel, at 8pm, but wakes at 1am then spends the rest of the night in our bed. If i dare go to the toilet she screams until I get back into bed.

She has only recently started to take a bottle, we are using the tommee tippee closer to nature as she refused to drink from advent bottles.

Hopefully someone will be able to be more help

Hi
i am new to this site but after 7 children have a bit of experience !!
Have you tried the playtex bottles ? they come with liners and i found them brilliant and was introduced to them by an American friend they are widely used in the states but can be difficult to get hold of in the uk. Don't know if i can give you the website details where i get mine but will try www.baby-bottle.co.uk All the best

Thank you both of you! Managed to do a whole 1 ounce if a bottle, bette than none I guess! Goig to change the rooms round today so infact ds4 is going to go into a bed rather than a cot so I can just gt in bed with him should he need it but also be in the same room as ds3 should he need me,,, oooh dear it's may be quite a task! Thank you for your support! It's not that I don't love having him in bed , it's just not practical anymore so wish me luck ! x

The only one my dd would take is the Nuk bottles and teats. Even those she turned her nose up at from 10 weeks old to 10 months old! Has finally given in and will take 2 bottles a day now. It's trial and error unfortunately. Are you giving bm or formula? If the latter, you could try mixing it with some bm.

MAM ULTIvent teats are good and fit Avent and most wide necked bottles (not TT, NUK, Chicco)
