Why is she licking my nipple tip when she feeds?

At least that's what it feels like. After a bit it gets really painful. She only does it on my right boob, and only started yesterday. I thought my latch was ok but maybe not?

Any suggestions as to how I can solve this?

Mine did this for a while too. She stopped doing it after a couple of days. Basically I took her off and put her back on whenever it got annoying/unbearable.

Hopefully the same goes for you.

It could be the latch. I let my DS latch on a little bit badly once (it was the middle of the night and I was too tired to correct it) and ended up with blisters on the end of my nip - ouch!
