pain in left breast coming and going for about a month

i am bf almost 1 year old ds and for the past month or so i keep getting a pain in my left breast, very near to where the breast tissue meets my underarm. it isn't particularly painful, feels more like a bruise but no actual bruise appears and i haven't hurt it or knocked myself with anything.

should i see the gp?

Hi, i would imagine there's absolutely nothing to worry about...breasts are sensitive things in normal circumstances but add to that the fact you're breastfeeding and they can become even more so.
Go and see your GP for your own peace of mind...they'll be able to reassure you. I'm sure you're ok, but better to discuss your concerns, get yourself checked out and move on. xxx
