Nursing necklace - worth it or worth saving my money?

DS grabs and pulls and pinches my boob whilst feeding and it hurts a lot because he is freakishly strong. Will a nursing necklace help or if not does anyone have any suggestions?

It might, or he might strangle you with it! TBH I have never seen a nice 'nursing necklace'- get some sturdy beads from the high street, much nicer and same job done. Oh and cheaper!

He'll grow out of it, as well. Not much help though when your boob is in shreads just now!

Mmm. I made myself a couple because I wondered if it might focus DS on my front, rather on whatever was going on over his shoulder and I have to say, it made no difference whatsoever! Try it and see with a necklace you already have - do you have something that's beads knotted onto a leather or cotton thong? That'll work just as well, and won't come apart.

i was going to buy one and asked on here but in the end i didn't

DD stopped being such a fidget and now she feeds so fast i don't think i would have got much use out of it

also, i let DD grip and twiddle my thumb - i stick it up and she grabs on - seems to work!

Never heard of these, can you hold his hand whilst he feeds? i used to like stroking dds hand whilst she fed.

I got some recently off ebay, they were the nicest ones i've seen and they were only a couple of quid, my dd really likes them, nearly choked her with them when she was facing outwards in the sling hanging up my washing the other day though!

Good idea about just using a normal necklace, i'll have to try that.

lovebeingahungparliament - I could hold his hand but I would quite like to be able to have 1 hand free for MNing
