I am interested in becoming a peer supporter

Are all the courses roughly the same?

Am not quite sure where to start - LLL or NCT

any advice would be great

Start locally, ruby.

Peer supporter training programmes are run by PCTs and SureStarts and Childrens Centres. The actual training is contracted to NCT, LLL, BfN or some other orgaisation and delivered by them, or else the PCT etc do their own.

Ask your HV where to find out where the next lot of training is and who to contact.
