21-month-old suddenly desperate for more milk

She eats well and until recently was down to just one bottle (240ml) before bed. Started asking for milk in the morning a couple of weeks ago (gave 150ml) and the last few nights has wanted milk in the night, then a second helping, last night even a third (which I didn't give). Tonight before bed, after her 240ml she cried for more, gave 120ml then she cried for more again! Didn't give.

Any ideas? Not sure if this is about milk or something else.

Thirsty? Have you tried giving her a drink of water?

Hungry? How long between her last meal and bedtime? Does she eat a decent meal in the evenings? Do you give her supper?

Maybe she wants an extra cuddle and a story? She may want you to hang around for a bit longer. Is there something that you can do that would help ease the transition from being in company to being alone?
