What happened to your boobs when you stopped feeding?

Just curious! I am feeding 10 week old dd and love it. My boobs are d/dd but some days look smaller IYSWIM.

I am getting worried about what will happen when I stop feeding (vain I know but is playing on my mind) So many people have told me they will just shrivel up and thats that.

Please tell me they dont vanish

I went from a DD to a G cup......after 14 months of BF, they went back to DD and were pretty much the same as before. Am pg again, and this time they've shot up to a J!!

it takes a while after you stop feeding for them to recover and fat deposits to return. with DS1 and DS2 mine where back to normal within 6 months. While feeding they change daily don't worry.

Pinner - J cup! Blimey, I can imagine its hard work carrying those around. I went up to an E cup during pregnancy and that was bad enough.

6 months! I wonder if the length of time you feed for effects it.

I think it really depends and can be very different woman to woman. For my 1st child they pretty much went back to normal. After my 3rd, they are (permanently) much reduced and rather sad I am very sorry to say (but am happy that they were used for something entirely positive!). But I know it isn't necessarily like this for everyone.

Mine just went to nothing for a while, was conviced id lost them forever, i was pretty upset (hormonal!) but didnt regret feeding dd for 1 min.
But now they are larger and fuller than they were before!
My mam and sil both breast fed, only other people i personally know and you would never tell on them either!
Carry on enjoying

well I BF DS1 for 6weeks and when i stopped they did indeed "shrivel up" but then they went back to almost as good as before!

I stopped bf DS2 a few months ago (he is 2.4) and there was no shrivelling at all I'm happy to report.

Mine are about the same - DD/E - though they did get much bigger when I was feeding.

I thought they would get really droopy - but they are only a wee bit different (I fed DD for 14 mnths) and I'm totally happy with the whole experience.

enjoy!
