Special nipple for a baby who has cleft palate

Hi Everyone,

I need help. I am looking for a special nipple for a baby who has cleft palate. I know about one that Chicco produces (or produced)called Tettarella Palatoschisi. The nipple has something like a cap around it. Does anyone know where I can buy it?

Thank you very much!!

Have you tried the CLAPA shop

Diferentname for this, thank you for your reply. And yes, I have and they don't have this special one. The problem is that this baby has palate opened to her respiratory system and she needs to use this nipple with this cap to avoid the milk to go into her nose. Do you know of anyother place where I can look for these special nipples? Thank you!

I don't I'm afraid, have you spoken to Clapa? They may know where they are available.

I have a cleft lip, and have no idea how I was fed, just thought that Clapa may have the answer.

This is the only other place that I know of, that you can ask. It is a dedicated cleft lip & palate forum.

I hope you get what you need soon!

Don't know about nipples but there are some feeders for babies with cleft palates from Medela if you are looking for alternatives. You can check the website for info.
Good luck in your search.
